Now the dust has settled we think Go-Live was a resounding success, particularly given that we were replacing complex legacy processes.
Post go-live issues have been resolved very quickly. We are starting to see the system simplifying business processes and reducing manual overhead, and we will start to look at the potential for further improvements.
We have received messages of thanks from the Strategic Director of Finance, Assistant Chief Executive and Director of Technology Services, which I think reflects the critical role the payment system plays in the Council’s operations.
